Abacus

Description
Teaching Tool demonstrating the place value of hundreds, tens and ones. Use for solving counting, addition and subtraction problems.

Developed for the Newera Education Maths Project, used extensively in Primary Schools within the Learning Library on the DB Primary Learning Platform.

Programmed in Canvas and Object Oriented Javascript
I developed the concept, wrote all the code and implemented the art direction.
This tool has several versions, all using the same code base, demonstrated below are the ‘Sheep Abacus’ and a more traditional ‘Bead Abacus’.
